    Maintenance of liferaft

    1.Monthly 

• check general physical condition.

• check last servicing date of liferaft & HRU.

• ensure painter connected to weaklink &                    connected to deck.

• no obstruction for automatic launching                    arrangement.

     2. Annually

• shore based maintenance of liferaft & HRU. 

• this may be extended by 6 months by the                  administration.

                 Maintenance of Rescue boat

      1. Weekly

• visual inspection every week

• test the engine.

      2. Monthly

• launch in water & manoeuvre.

      3. Annually

• onload release mechanism to be operationally         tested. 

•  survey as lifeboat.

•  inflated rescue boat servicing as per                         manufacturers instructions.
