Lifeboat release mechanisms

•   As of release mechanisms, there are three types. 1.onload 2.off load and 3.free fall. The main difference between them is offload release mechanism is used during severe weather conditions. onload is used during normal sea conditions. I have attached the notes which i have been made during my exams.  I think it will be helpful to you guys as well.  Guys remember one thing, don't make things too complicated, as of second mate you are about to know the basics.  It will help you to gain knowledge of what all necessary and easily you can clear your exams.
